The land and country is a pivotal part of Australian Aboriginal culture. I have a number of Aboriginal Dot Art paintings bought during my travels. Each painting has a deep sacred meaning in culture.
The dots, I was told, is from the various shrubs and vegetation filling up the outback desert country.
This aerial picture, taken in the Flinders Ranges area clearly shows what an amazing canvas the land can be to tell stories.
