The Oodnadatta track runs parallel to the old Ghan railway track which operated from 1929 to 1980. For the railway history buff there is plenty of history to experience along this track.
Amongst the many ruins scattered along the way are several railway bridges. Some bridges more famous than others amongst the touring community.
This picture was of one of the less famous bridges located a short distance from Coward Springs railway siding (today a popular camping facility).
