Those who have not ventured into the great outdoors will always be of the notion "what's there to see in a vast patch of nothing." I've actually been asked this a few times. No matter how hard I try to orally describe the experience, it is nothing quite like living the experience. This at times leaves the skeptics to remain unconvinced.
The day this picture was taken started out very overcast creating a dull mood. Everything was on an even tone with hardly any contrast between the shadows, mid-tones and the highlights. Then as the day wore on, pockets of holes in the clouds opened up through which glorious rays of light beamed down creating quite the spectacle. Who said the vast Savanna grasslands are boring?
